I can see on this mostly pro-industry site that not many will risk to face the reality of just how dangerous and stupid it is to allow shell or anyone else to drill in the artic.
The artic ice musr be preserved for potable water (even for texas) supplies once the aqifers are poisoned by hydrylic fracking

Why is the truth so hard to determine? The people could be mistaken, but if the ship had to be towed, why doesn't Shell admit it. Is the culture so insecure at Shell that the truth is negotiable?

And all this time, I thought James Mason was an actor... turns out he's a journalist in Dutch Harbor.

No disrespect intended to Mr. Mason, but there are lots of ways a person can be fooled about the position of ships in Dutch Harbor. Stuff is moving all the time, including reference points, and that doesn't even get into the weather, which is almost always bad, limiting visibility.
Anyway, apparently no harm was done to the ship, so what's the point of beating this dead horse?

Hello, wake up crew...you don't get the weekend off. Pay attention to what your ship is doing.
